Are other companies paying steam ticket adders for Coordinators and Steam Chiefs
Our company is reviewing how or if steam ticket adders would be paid for Coordinators. It's easily realized that if they don't, the senior operators will make the same total comp as their supervisors, without any overtime, and quickly surpass their supervisors with a little bit of overtime. Many of our Coordinator positions require no more than a third class. Their counterparts hold seconds and even some firsts.
Thoughts?
Pretty sure husky energy is not paying any office staff for their tickets. Even chief engineers are not receiving additional compensation, which I find ridiculous as their certificates are essential to plant operation.
Husky is reviewing a change to that right away. Stay tuned.
