Sour Gas Plant Operator

Our Quirk Creek Sour Gas Plant has exciting opportunities for highly motivated and experienced Sour Gas Plant Control Room Operators that possess a Second Class Steam Certificate. Our Quirk Creek facility is located 10 kms west of the community of Millarville and 50 kms SW of Calgary or 45 kms from Okotoks.
Responsibilities:
-Adhere to all Safety and Environmental procedures, guidelines and best practices -Monitor/control process conditions within the listed functional units of the facility:
Superheated Steam Production
Glycol Gas Dehydration
Propane Refrigeration
Condensate Stabilization
LPG Lean Oil Fractionation
Amine Gas Sweetening
Sulphur Plant Operations
Sour Gas Compression
-Maintain process variables for maximum recovery and efficiency in the facility.
The ideal candidate will be a Post-Secondary Graduate in Power Engineering with a minimum of a Second Class Certificate. Extensive knowledge of Sour Plant Operations/Infrastructure and experience using Delta-V DCS with PLC interphase is ideal. We are looking for people with strong analytical troubleshooting skills, written and verbal communication skills, who enjoy working in a team environment
Our pay is industry competetive and area leading. You can't get this kind of compensation and live in the Calgary area without having to fly in/fly out.
